Building dreams with the “Cornerstoneempowering the growth of the students under Geely Education


The Cornerstone P
rogram is Geely's endogenous talent strategy initiative for future industrial transformation. By actively exploring an open, shared industry-education collaboration system, it promotes deep integration between industry and education. Together with global universities, it practices a thousand people, thousand paths education model (that is, a personalized education model)nurturing  global like-minded talents who share Geely’s business vision to take root at Geely, becoming the solid foundation for corporate development and fostering the thriving Geely Talent Forest.


Over the past three years, more than 3,700 students from Geely-affiliated institutions have entered Geely for internships through the Cornerstone Program, covering multiple business areas such as digitalization, intelligent manufacturing, marketing services, and design. More than a thousand have been empowered, gradually building a curriculum system and training platform covering the entire industrial chain, laying a solid foundation for talent cultivation.It supports every student to climb toward a brighter future, with internships as their stepping stone.




Multiple projects, infinite possibilities for Young Talents’ Growth


Stars Project(Fanxing in Chinese pronunciation)


The Stars Project is an exclusive talent development initiative by Geely Auto Group for students from its affiliated institutions. It aims to cultivate versatile, high-quality frontline new retail talent with expertise in new energy vehicle sales and new media skills. Through deep education-enterprise collaboration and 1.5 years of upfront training, students are job-ready upon graduation, providing a complete growth path from learning to doing. In the two hot directions of NEV retail and digital marketing, the interns will master key industry skills and open a green channel to a high-salary career!



Star Grit Project(Xingli in Chinese pronunciation)


The Star Grit Project is a strategic talent reserve initiative under Geely Auto Group's vehicle R&D system. By integrating Geely's educational resources and industrial advantages, it deeply aligns university education with corporate needs, offering targeted training to enhance students' practical abilities and support high-quality career development. It also accelerates technological innovation and outcome conversion, driving industrial upgrading and high-quality development.



Star Chain Project(Lianxing in Chinese pronunciation)


Driven by the “four new trends” revolution in the automotive industry, there is a shortage of versatile supply chain talents, making the reform of university-enterprise talent cultivation a critical breakthrough. Geely Auto Group, together with ecosystem partners of Geely Development Assistance Committee, will launch the Star Chain Project to build a sustainable talent development network, deepen empowerment for endogenous supply chain talents, and jointly foster a new ecosystem for the automotive industry.



M100 Project


To deepen industry-education integration and collaborative innovation in the alcohol-hydrogen sector, establish a systematic talent cultivation system, and support the high-quality development of the alcohol-hydrogen industry, Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group focuses on alcohol-hydrogen R&D, sales and services. It strives to cultivate a group of high-quality targeted industrial talents and versatile “alcohol-hydrogen talent echelon”. Through multi-dimensional cooperation such as joint laboratories, collaborative research on key projects, and joint technological R&D, it achieves two-way empowerment and mutual progress between talent cultivation and industrial development.



Digital Intelligence Project(Shuzhi in Chinese pronunciation)


Launched officially in 2026, the Cornerstone Program · Digital Intelligence Project is co-developed by the Digital Intelligence Sharing Center and Geely Digital Intelligence Innovation Industry College, in full response to the national strategy of “industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation”. Oriented toward practical needs of digital transformation, it breaks down university-enterprise barriers, deeply integrates Geely’s mature digital training system with real business scenarios, and provides dedicated professional mentors for coaching. Focused on nurturing versatile digital intelligence talents, it builds a distinctive “digital intelligence talent echelon”, realizes complementary university-enterprise resources and synchronized development of talents and industries, injecting fresh impetus into the Group’s digital transformation.



SmartStar Project (Zhixing in Chinese pronunciation)


Amid a growing talent shortage in key fields such as AI big data and digital intelligence, the Cornerstone Program · SmartStar Project 2026 is launched to implement the national strategy of “industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation” and Geely’s long-term talent strategy under the Cornerstone Program. Centering on digital intelligence product development, testing and related fields, it adopts the core approach of “early lock-in, systematic training, and practical refinement”, setting a benchmark for university-enterprise collaborative talent development.



StarTalent Project(Xingcai in Chinese pronunciation)


This is Geely’s exclusive HR talent development program. Through one year of systematic internship before graduation, students integrate into corporate scenarios in advance and become familiar with core HR workflows including recruitment and business BP roles, comprehensively improving capabilities in talent recruitment, organizational empowerment and business collaboration. Guided by long-term career development, the project provides continuous training and targeted empowerment, building a group of HR backbones and reserve talents who are professional, business-savvy and collaborative, providing solid talent support for the construction and high-quality development of Geely’s human resources system.



StarShine Project(Xingyao in Chinese pronunciation)


Facing a global shortage of top design talents and adhering to the philosophy of nurturing talents through real-world practice, the StarShine Project deepens integration with universities. The two sides will build a “super laboratory” for industry-education integration and establish a seamless “classroom-to-enterprise” training system, replicating the top-tier teaching models of Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft HTW Berlin and ArtCenter College of Design (ACCD). The two-year corporate talent adaptation period is transferred directly to the campus, continuously delivering versatile, hands-on design talents to the industry who are innovative, implementable, and user-understanding.



Star Craft Project(Jiangxing in Chinese pronunciation)


Adopting an immersive training model of “bases as classrooms and production lines as teaching materials”, the project builds a “technology + practice” versatile talent echelon for equipment automation and four core processes in intelligent manufacturing. It deepens university-enterprise cooperation, establishes an integrated “teaching-training-employment” cooperation paradigm, optimizes university curriculum development, and launches co-built practical courses integrated into academic systems.



Star Quality Project(Xingzhi in Chinese pronunciation)


The quality sector currently faces challenges including a large talent gap and insufficient young talent reserve. The Cornerstone Program · StarQuality Project reserves and cultivates talents while allowing students to hone practical skills in real corporate scenarios, forming a closed-loop training system of “university-enterprise collaboration and industry-education integration”, laying a talent foundation for the continuous improvement of corporate quality capabilities.



Star Launch Project(Xingqi in Chinese pronunciation)


The Star Launch Project is a strategic talent reserve program within Geely Auto Group's financial system. It aims to leverage the deep integration of Geely's educational resources and industry to discover like-minded individuals who share the dream of making Geely cars travel the world and cultivate endogenous reserve strength. Based on the Star Launch Project, it initiates deep linkage between management talent echelons and Geely's education system, driving the sharing and synergy of Geely's ecosystem resources.



New Star Project(Xinxing in Chinese pronunciation)


To cultivate high-quality young talent echelons that adapt to and lead the new round of manufacturing industrial transformation and match the intelligent manufacturing strategy, Qianjiang Motor plans to launch the Cornerstone Program · New Star Project. Rooted in the long-term strategy of talents powering enterprise, it advances training and provides systematic empowerment to comprehensively upgrade the academic background and professional competence of frontline management teams. Supported by a fast-growth channel of “six-month reserve and one-year promotion”, it integrates a five-in-one practical training path: rotation experience, mentor coaching, improvement practice, talent review and reserve promotion, injecting sustainable momentum into manufacturing transformation and upgrading.



Rising Talent Project(Xinrui in Chinese pronunciation)


The JIYAO Rising Talent Project is an exclusive talent development program for students from Geely’s affiliated universities by the Battery Industry Group. Through systematic internships, it helps students smoothly transition from campus to workplace, solidify professional skills and hands-on experience, and achieve the goal of “job-ready upon graduation and competent from Day One”. Oriented toward long-term development, the project continuously supports talent growth, ultimately forging a group of skilled, practical, reliable and high-potential job backbones and reserve forces, providing a steady stream of impetus for Geely’s high-quality development.



Fellow Traveler Project(Tongluren in Chinese pronunciation)


Lotus Technology’s Fellow Traveler Project is an exclusive intern talent development initiative for students from Geely-affiliated universities. It aims to cultivate high-quality talents with core business capabilities and innovative thinking. Through practical empowerment and targeted training, it builds a seamless growth path from campus to workplace, allowing participants to grow alongside the company and become a better version of themselves at Lotus Technology.
