On July 28, the 10th ASEAN-China Education Cooperation Week, focusing on “sharing a decade achievements in educational cooperation and starting a new chapter along with the Belt and Road Initiative”, was unveiled in Guizhou Province. Ms. Zoe Che, Vice President of University of Sanya, attended related events.
Headed by Mr. Li Yuenan, Vice Director of Education Department of Hainan Province, delegates from universities in Hainan met with Dr. Gatot Hari Priowirjanto, SEAMEO Secretariat Director on the afternoon of July 29. Nearly 20 officers of SEAMEO and representatives from 10 universities in Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines were invited to present at the meeting. Ms. Zoe Che, on behalf of USY, attended the meeting and introduced USY’s overall educational situation and the characteristics and advantages of our university. She expressed the desire on cooperation and exchange with related universities in the Southeast Asia.

After the meeting, Ms. Chantavit Sujatanond, Center Director of SEAMEO RIHED met with Ms. Zoe Che. Both sides had in-depth discussion on details of ASEAN-China Private Higher Education Development and Cooperation Forum this year at USY.
